A great deal has changed in the whistleblowing arena in the last few years. The frequency of whistleblowing, the ways in which it happens and our attitudes towards whistleblowers have all changed and are still changing. Richard Vize is a journalist with a longstanding interest in local government and the public sector. Richard is also a trustee of Protect a legal charity focused on whistleblowing. Kushi Gugral is a senior executive working at Protect and Georgina Charlton is a freedom to speak-up guardian at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
